The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), the trade association which promotes Bluetooth® wireless technology, based in USA, has selected Ruder Finn Innovation Studios (RFI) after a comprehensive pitch among agencies. The one year retainer agreement involves design, technical development and construction of the Bluetooth SIG Developer Portal for the China market as well as overall management and maintenance of the site.
The Bluetooth SIG is not new to its target audience in China and the main objectives of this major initiative are to localize the portal to attract and engage Chinese software and hardware developers interested in creating new products with Bluetooth technology. The site will provide them with tools, training and other resources, while cultivating loyalty.
Lori Lee, Bluetooth Marketing and PR Manager for Asia Pacific, said, "I knew Ruder Finn had a global reputation for experienced and professional service. Nevertheless, their solution to my problem exceeded my expectations. Every detail was taken into consideration in their thoughtful proposal. It’s fair enough to say, their overall plan met my company’s demands perfectly."
"This is an incredible coup for RFI since its recent launch in June this year," Elan Shou, managing director and senior vice president of Ruder Finn China, said. "With our global know-how and strength in technology, we will certainly be able to achieve Bluetooth SIG’s objectives in China and more."
