Ruder Finn has won a retainer from ARA Trust Management (Suntec) Limited, the Manager of Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust ("Suntec REIT"), for the repositioning of Suntec City Mall, and has been charged with developing and implementing the communications strategy and media relations.
Suntec City is one of the largest commercial developments in Singapore. Opened 17 years ago, it is a landmark in Singapore, especially in the Marina Bay area. Suntec City, comprise approximately 2.2 million square feet and 855,000 square feet of prime office and retail spaces respectively, as well as approximately 1 million square feet of convention and exhibition space . Suntec City Mall, one of the largest malls in the city, is currently undergoing a $230 million Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI). The asset enhancement works began in June 2012 and will involve three phases. Phase 1 is target to open by May 2013. Phases 2 and 3 are targeted to open in the fourth quarter of 2013 and 2014 respectively.
