Ruder Finn wins Gold Sabre Award for Sanofi FRIEND Project “Cure with Love”

Ruder Finn has won the Gold Sabre for the Sanofi FRIEND project in the pharmaceutical category. The project ‘Cure with Love’ is a patient support program which ran from 2011 to 2013, focused on helping breast cancer patients understand the value of standard therapy and provide strong psychological care and support to their families.

The World Health Organization’s (WHO) global statistics show 500,000 women die from breast cancer annually. In China, every year, 190,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women, pointing to an alarming rising trend.

In three years, Sanofi Friend Project has been launched in 25 key cities throughout China, actively involving 52 hospitals and providing training to enable senior physicians and professional instructors to strengthen concepts of patient care and improve non-medical expertise.

This is the 3rd award win for the Sanofi FRIEND Project. It has also won the CIPRA Golden Award for Health & Wellness Communications and the Shanghai PR Silver Award.
