Ruder Finn hires Antoine Monod to head newly created Sales and Marketing Activation Division

Ruder Finn has hired Antoine Monod as Director, Sales and Marketing Activation Division, a newly created role believed to be unique in the PR industry. The role has been created to answer the needs of corporations that are increasingly looking at strong and creative partnership opportunities to reach out to their audiences. International and local companies frequently search for suitable partners and sponsors but often do not have the right access or connections.

Antoine, based in Singapore and reporting to Jean-Michel Dumont, Ruder Finn Asia’s Chairman, will work with teams across Asia Pacific to identify the right platforms for existing and new clients. He will also assist in shaping the partnerships, ensuring both sides enjoy benefits beyond mere financial sponsorship. To support his efforts, Antoine will tap into the Agency’s diverse network of contacts and partnerships, as well as into Ruder Finn’s Arts & Culture practice, the oldest and largest global arts practice within an international PR network. This experience and extensive network allows Ruder Finn to meet the needs of their clients by reaching out to the right partners, being involved at the point of connection and in a position to develop stronger communication plans around those partnerships.

During his 15 years in Asia, Antoine has worked for large corporations, including BNP-Paribas and Alcatel, as well as for smaller cultural businesses such as Alliance Française and Editions Didier Millet. His expertise covers a range of areas including writing a paper on the Protection of the Minority Shareholders in English Law, giving a series of conferences on the Birth of Modern Art in France and organising the launch of the "One Touch" handphone in Singapore. He also set up Singapore’s first Green Committee for publishers, putting in place CSR processes that combine ecological values with economic realities.

In his later roles, he has set-up sales and marketing departments to support revenue growth. While multiplying sales channels, Antoine led multicultural teams to success through challenging economic environments. His innovative sales campaigns and his energy have brought a number of cultural projects to fruition while offering the right communication platforms for the partners, such as luxury companies, banks and airlines.
