PRWeek selects Ruder Finn Asia’s Chairman as one of the Most Influential People in PR 2014

PRWeek has selected Jean-Michel Dumont, Chairman of Ruder Finn Asia, as one of Asia’s 50 most influential People in PR in 2014. PRWeek’s Asia Power List 2014 selects communications professionals in Asia who have either set the benchmark for standards and/or hold influence in their industry because of the power of their position. PRWeek looked at the contribution each has made to the profession of communication and the power of influence in their respective markets. PRWeek summary: Jean-Michel Dumont became chairman of Ruder Finn Asia in 2008 after seven years in charge of its China operations,where his expertise helped Ruder Finn become one of the top three international PR agencies and a recognized leader in several areas including automotive, luxury, healthcare, corporate and CSR. He has since further strengthened Ruder Finn’s Asia presence by opening three offices in India and creating a conflict agency, Thunder Communication, bringing the total number of Asia offices to 13 and establishing a strong affiliates’ network across Asia. 2014 marks his 28th year in PR in Asia. Offering insightful counsel on strategies for Asia, Jean-Michel draws on his knowledge and experience from diverse types of campaigns with a broad spectrum of clients. In corporate communications and CSR, he has developed strategies for "Challenge Bibendum," the global Michelin Green Mobility event, the Audi "Green Driving" campaign and the successful "Driving Dream" project, still recognized by UNICEF as the best public-private partnership in China.
