Martin Alintuck steps into a newly created role as Ruder Finn Southeast Asia Managing Director, responsible for operations in the region which include offices in Singapore and Malaysia, and the Ruder Finn South East Asia affiliate network. His role also includes strategically growing Ruder Finn’s presence in the region, team management, new business development and working closely with the regional and global network. Based in Singapore, Martin reports directly to Elan Shou, Executive Vice President and Asia Director of Ruder Finn.
The Southeast Asian economy has been growing continuously, at a robust rate, year-on-year. In 2017, Ruder Finn opened an office in Malaysia headed by Archana Menon.
With more than 25 years’ experience and an award-winning portfolio, Martin brings with him immense expertise including corporate reputation, public relations, public affairs, crisis communications, CEO reputation, stakeholder relationship building, media relations, brand management, impactful writing for Fortune 500 and SME companies and brands.
In China for eight years, Martin led the successful and award-winning American pavilion communications at Expo 2010 Shanghai while also serving as president/CEO of the USD$65M operation; re-engineered Edelman China, driving an unprecedented, sustainable growth strategy which doubled revenues, enhanced reputation and delivered strong business results for clients. In Japan for two years, Martin turned around Burson-Marsteller Tokyo moving it from a USD$2M loss to USD1M profit in just 12 months. As a result, Burson-Marsteller named him “Asia-Pacific Market Leader of the Year”.
