CSR Asia Summit 2018 returns to Hong Kong. Ruder Finn Asia Expands its support with Promotion & Training

21 August 2018. Hong Kong – Ruder Finn Asia was appointed the official PR agency for the CSR Asia Summit 2018 which will be held in Hong Kong on September 18 and 19. Now in its 12th year, the Summit is recognized as the largest and most thought-provoking conference on social responsibility, sustainability and supply chain management in Asia. It is organized by CSR Asia, an ELEVATE company.

A leading independent integrated communications consultancy, Ruder Finn has been the official PR partner for the CSR Asia Summit since 2009 and will work closely with CSR Asia to create awareness and promote the September event, which will focus on the fundamentals of responsible business: Transparency, Integrity and Impact. This year it includes the responsible sourcing and supply chain management expertise of the ELEVATE Leadership Series – Hong Kong.

The CSR Asia Summit 2018 will bring together more than 500 regional practitioners, policymakers and thought leaders representing 30 countries to discuss the issues, challenges and solutions to the region’s most pressing issues centred around this year’s theme, Transparency, Integrity and Impact. Speakers from diverse industries will share their insights on these drivers of responsible organizations. Speakers include:

In addition, this year for the first time Ruder Finn and CSR Asia will also offer an exclusive SONAR Crisis Simulation experience to Summit delegates. Developed by Ruder Finn’s digital arm RFI, SONAR is an immersive crisis simulation experience designed to help brands develop the skills to manage crises at the cross-section of social and mainstream media. The multi-language, multi-channel training platform replicates the dynamic environment of a real-life crisis scenario, and tests participants in all aspects of crisis management in an authentic, immersive and secure environment. The training will be led by Head of Digital, Ruder Finn APAC, David Ko who oversees RFI Asia and will be available during CSR Asia’s Pre-Summit Training Day on September 17. Ko will also moderate a Summit session on the impact of fake news on September 19 which will include executives from Google, Facebook and University of Hong Kong faculty.
