20 June 2017. Hong Kong. RFI Asia, the award-winning digital arm of Ruder Finn Asia, today announced the promotions of Maximilian Wang, Vincent Mak, and Joshua Wang.
RFI Asia was formed when Ruder Finn Asia acquired Daylight Partnership, a fast-growing digital marketing and analytics consultancy, in December 2016.
Maximilian Wang, Group Director, RFI Asia
Max brings over 10 years’ global experience articulating innovative creative strategies and building multi-dimensional programs that don’t just energise brands, but drive real results. Now he leads RFI Asia’s highly specialized teams in digital strategy, creative, production and client services, delivering breakthrough, award-winning work. He first joined Daylight in 2015 with previous experience in advertising and branding, most notably as senior regional marketer at Richemont, senior producer at independent agency Anonymous, and creative head at DBM Group. Max considers himself part sociologist, part troublemaker, who believes in bold visions and precise execution in order to effectively anchor creativity and forge long-lasting brand experiences. He takes pride in his work, partnering with iconic brands like Lee Kum Kee, HSBC, Prudential, Nike, Hong Kong Disneyland, Swire Properties, L’Oréal, Wyndham Hotels, Fitbit, Uber and many more.
Vincent Mak, Head of Client Service, RFI Asia
Vincent has built his career as a regional marketing communication professional with more than 15 years’ experience leading corporate marketing communications for multimillion-dollar companies across diverse industries, including Nielsen, Fox International Channels and iProperty Group. During his time at Nielsen, one of his key responsibilities was digital channel engagement for the brand, including producing HK-oriented content and facilitating user experience by leveraging Nielsen’s insights for the company’s web properties in China and Hong Kong and LinkedIn channel for better consumer engagement. At RFI Asia, Vincent oversees a growing, diverse client portfolio that includes major brands such as Fitbit, HSBC, Nike, Victorinox and Digital Domain.
Joshua Wang, Head of Insights and Analytics
Joshua turns data into a science, bringing over five years’ experience in public health and clinical research to RFI Asia. His previous work in public health, examining the social, cultural, and psychological drivers, adds a fresh perspective to effectively analyzing market intelligence, consumer behavior and brand relationships. Leading a team of data scientists and research specialists, Joshua plays a key role in equipping content strategists and creatives with data-driven digital strategies, delivering award-winning marketing campaigns in Asia and abroad for major RFI Asia clients including MTR Corp, Maxim’s Group, L’Oréal, Fitbit, Amgen and Subway Restaurants. Joshua currently spearheads the development of RFI BEACON, a global full-service Insights & Analytics suite from Ruder Finn Inc.
